Information, local services and democratic information for Rosehaven.

Rosehaven Council is the principal council established for the Rosehaven local area in Hearth. The council has not yet commenced operations, so council-run services and democratic business are not yet open. This site explains what residents can expect from the council, how local government in Rosehaven is arranged and where responsibilities sit while the council is being established.

Local services

The council’s local role centres on community life, local information and participation, libraries and heritage, recreation, volunteering, the local economy, place planning and resilience. Each service page explains the purpose of the function and the current position before commencement.

Your council

Rosehaven will operate as a democratic principal council. Residents will be able to follow meetings and decisions, understand how councillors represent wards, take part in local democracy and see how the council is governed. Those arrangements are explained now even where the first Rosehaven-specific records do not yet exist.

Current status

Rosehaven Council is recognised but uncommenced. Existing public services do not transfer merely because this website exists. Where another organisation currently provides a service, that organisation remains responsible until a competent change takes effect.
